We are an independent Islamic-based school. Our theory at Blossoming Minds Learning Centre stems from a Blossom tree. It takes time to bloom, but its beauty is worth the wait - much like the developing child. Their minds will blossom if given the opportunity to do so. We grant them that opportunity by providing them with information, resources, and experiences which will ultimately allow them to reach their full potential not only as little academics, but as people of this world. We assist them in their independence as well as their purpose as human beings. We teach them to care for the environment, to help the less fortunate and to show kindness to all around us.
We view each child as an individual and recognise their intellectual, spiritual, social and emotional needs. We then build on their strengths and challenge their weaknesses. We never assist a child unless help is needed. We feel that the most rewarding feeling is witnessing a child succeed in a task. This builds on their self-confidence which they are able to carry on throughout their life.
The Caterpillars
Infant Class – four to six babies from the age of 6 months old, with preference given to siblings at the school.

Toddler Class – age 2-3 years old

Pre-Nursery - age 3-4 years old
The Sprouts
Nursery – age 4-5 years old
Within the school we have created a space which we consider to be our creative and imaginative area. In this area the children are able to:
- Take out books from our little library and expand their imaginations in our reading corner
- Explore their creativity in our arts and crafts area
- Learn through play in our imagination station filled with games and novelty toys
We believe that by creating this separate area, it allows for a more spacious classroom which in turn provides the child with the freedom to move. Movement is important as it allows a child to explore his environment and through exploration do we learn.

Our Aims:
The purposes of the school:
- Academic - To arm the children with essential knowledge and skills for living, that will carry them through their school career.
- Emotional – To ensure that students are happy throughout their time at school and feel enthusiastic about learning and achieving.
- Independence - To instil the ability to communicate freely and confidently. To teach competence, responsibility, independence and to have a moral and ethical compass.
- Social – To help them develop friendships and gain a sense of achievement in a productive, stimulating and motivating environment, as well as to promote individual personal development.
